I am a 2007 graduate of Springfield High School. After my time at SHS, I attended The University of Tennessee at Martin to obtain my Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Leadership. I then received a graduate assistantship to attend Tennessee Technological University and obtained my Master's of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Most recently I attended Union University to obtain my teaching license. I now teach Personal Finance, Introduction to Business and Marketing, and Computer Applications at SHS.
During my time at Tennessee Tech, I worked at The River Community Church in the Student Ministry Department as an intern. Also during this time, I was reunited with my friend, Bethany. We were married at Springfield Baptist Church on May 18, 2013, and we’re blessed with our son, Isaiah Luke, on January 27, 2017.
It is now my privilege to serve Springfield Baptist Church as the Minister of Students for those in middle school, high school, and college. Together with the students, parents, and leaders we have formed TREE Student Ministry. Our mission is to teach students how to Love God, Love People, and Leave a Legacy for the next group behind them. Our vision is to help students become Rooted in Christ, Watered by the Word, No Junk in the Trunk, Branches that Reach Out, Fruits of the Spirit, Leaves that Heal the Nations, and Form a Forest of Unity.
If you ever need to contact me, I am available via e-mail at email@example.com. For updates about ministry events join our Facebook page, follow us on Instagram, or text @sbctsm to 81010 to receive text messages.
